NCH Larnaca Villa Front

Sea, water, waves, air, wind have always been an inspiration for designers. They are all associated with relaxation and refreshment. A unique concept to use for the site given, for the development of a 4/5 Star Hotel & Residences. The site is situated at the coastal front of the sea at the area of Pyla in Larnaca. Due to the site’s nature our proposal was based using the concept of the sea, water, waves, air, wind and furthermore the idea of ship, boat, yachts, and sailing!

The project development was organized into 3 zones, and positioned towards the sea views, making sure that all rooms, apartments, villas overlooked the sea. Moreover, the positioning of the buildings was also important for the orientation of the sun. The zones are as follows. The Hotel, the Residential Tower, left and right Villas, front coastal Villas. In the middle we positioned a ‘wet element’ in the swimming pools. While a large ellipse shaped void overlooking the basement at the spa area.
The Hotel opens up its ‘arms like hugging’ the rest of the development. The main Hotel entrance is located on the North-West side of the land, where the main road is. While entering the main entrance of the Hotel the first thing a client sees and feels is the view of the sea and the feel of entering a boat. – to set sail! The white shaped balconies give the filing of hovering over the sea.
The Ship shaped Hotel has 9 floors, Ground floor and Basement. The last two floors are residential flats – 6 units of Two Bedroom flats and 4 units of Three Bedroom flats. All the rooms and suites of the hotel have an almost 270-degree view of the sea and its location, as well as views of the sunset.
The concept of the exterior is extended to the interior of the project. The choice of materials, textures, colors, and patterns contributed to the hotel and the residential interior to become a maritime oasis that creates the feeling of freshness and coolness.
