Urbancity 44 is located at Pireos Avenue in Athens, at a vast historical building of the Athenian Modernity. This landmark was previously used as a governmental building with various services and departments being hosted there through the years.
The building is a fine example of the modern style of the 50s with magnificent Zoellner slabs and continuous glass surfaces. These structural characteristics were preserved and highlighted in the new residential concept. In the rooms, the Zoellner slabs have been restored to perfection and a strip of a mirror up on the wall makes the roof even more dramatic. Also on the top floor, the penthouses have a special private staircase that leads to the roof, where a private designated courtyard awaits the user of this luxury apartment. The common areas have been minimized as most of the square meters were utilized for housing.
