Constructed in 1963, the building used to be a modern office space. Thus, the facades consisted mainly of glass and steel.
As the building was part of the modern Athenian history, we kept the memory of its vertical and horizontal elements alive. The windows in the new structure were moved slightly inside so that small balconies emerge. As a result, the vertical and horizontal structural elements were amplified in order to better express the rhythm of the facade.
The redesign of this particular space aimed to transform a former office building into a functional hotel with high aesthetic value.
