Set amphitheatrically on a 75-acre estate on the edge of Sounio National Park, Cape Sounio Resort was designed to reflect the Attica landscape. The 154 bungalows and villas of the complex were refurbished so as to meet the needs of a luxury resort hotel. Floor-to ceiling windows open out to a patio or a private garden with a pool, offering an outstanding view of the Temple of Zeus.

Stone, wood and other natural materials infuse the building with an air of laidback luxury and timeless aesthetic. Special design features, including a glass boardwalk leading to views of the ancient ruins, accentuate the potentials of the estate. Indigenous plants were used where possible, adding to the site’s uniqueness while being considerate of the natural environment.
